Mischievous Marketing currently delivers the contract for Solhull Metropolitan Borough Council's Enterprise for Success scheme.
Solihull Council is eager to see the North Solihull region become a hot bed for entrepreneurs and has created the scheme in order to encourage aspiring entrepreneurs in the area. The scheme provides business assistance and mentoring to new business start-ups completely free of charge. There is free support available to people living in the Borough of Solihull who have a business idea and would like help in getting it off the ground. There are business clinics, and one-to-one mentoring is also available.
Lynda Hackwell, Head of Community & Economic Regeneration, said: "Lots of people have great ideas about setting up a business and sometimes all they need is someone to talk to about those ideas. That’s what this scheme is about.
And it is not just about traditional, tried and tested businesses either. We welcome people with really creative ideas that might just fill a gap in the market."
The Council is hosting free business clinics at Chelmsley Wood and Kingshurst libraries until April this year and urges anyone thinking about starting up a new business to come along.
